How Alium Partners meet clients' needs

As the UK's leading provider of high level interim executives, Alium has established processes for selecting the right executives and supporting you throughout every assignment.

Understanding your needs

Our process starts by meeting with you to discuss your business requirements and the goals you have in mind for an interim manager. We will then turn that into a blueprint for resource requirements - not only recommending what kind of interim executive, or team of executives, you need but also offering advice and insight into how to make the best use of our interim managers.

Our approach enables us to get to the heart of the challenges you are facing and clarify exactly the role you need to fill - whether you want to transform or improve the current situation, assess and diagnose a problem or deliver change and results.

Agreeing the assignment brief

Following our initial meeting, we will agree a brief for the assignment within 24 hours. We seek to understand not only the key objectives, but also gain an overview of your organisation and its current situation, and generate ideas on the type of interim manager who will work well with your team, fit in culturally within your organisation and best meet your needs.

Communicating constantly

To enable us to meet tight deadlines, we will keep in regular contact with your key decision-makers throughout the assignment process. We request that a senior point of contact is available to us at all times throughout the assignment and you will have a nominated point of contact at Alium.

Selecting the right interim executives

We select two or three of the most suitable interim executives from our talent pool for your consideration and confirm their availability. We match the profiles of professionals on our database against your requirement and your organisational culture, and then arrange for you to meet them to finalise your selection.

Contracting

We manage all the paperwork, providing you and the executive with the right contracts, terms and conditions, agreed fees and contract duration.

Supporting you throughout the assignment

Our service does not end with the appointment of the interim manager. Instead, we will regularly contact both you and our interim to check the assignment is progressing successfully, with regular assignment reviews with our client and the interim manager.
