Following an acquisition, this life insurance company wanted to merge IT infrastructures.

However, the two organisations had used very different platforms, while support for some of the legacy systems was hard to find, particularly as many of the IT staff had refused to relocate. Alium was tasked to find an IT interim programme director with an understanding of complex system and process integration. Our interim CIO brought a solution that involved a pragmatic combination of outsourcing, reskilling and solution alliances.
