Following the acquisition of a major automotive company in Germany, it was essential that the financial systems of the two companies were integrated as quickly as possible.

Alium found the client an experienced interim manager who led the integration and ensured that within four months the business could benefit from fully automated reports, giving profitability on a line-by-line basis and full results two days after month-end. The software he introduced – which used industry standards and was more user-friendly – was soon adopted as the financial system for the group.
