Having decided to invest over US$30m in building the leading chemicals plant in the Middle East, this international chemicals company needed an interim management professional to oversee construction and take responsibility for forming a successful management team.

The interim manager successfully managed the construction and commissioning of the plant to a point of commercial activity, including training of local staff and negotiations with Government Authorities and product registration. He formulated the company manufacturing, purchasing and commercial strategies, engaged the necessary human resources to implement the above strategies and directed the training of personnel from a wide range of ethnic and educational backgrounds.
