Working for a better environment

Alium takes its environmental responsibilities seriously. We have in place a comprehensive policy to reduce our environmental impact, and we aim to meet or exceed environmental legislation relevant to an office environment.

Alium aims to:

• Reduce waste and consumption of resources, by
• Moving towards a paperless office
• Using timers to minimise energy consumption
• Cleaning all facilities daily
• Recycling the majority of paper waste (confidential documents are shredded before being recycled)
• Reduce our level of emissions
• Control the environmental effects of raw materials sourcing
• Include environmental factors in all strategic planning, and particularly with regard to office premises and suppliers.

All our staff are trained to understand the policy and a dedicated member of staff is responsible for ensuring our objectives are met and reporting to the Board on environmental issues.
