Working with Alium - for Interim Managers
To ensure we can find you the best opportunities, and provide the highest quality of service to our clients, Alium aims to build long-term relationships with our interim managers from the moment they register with us.
We believe that we provide our interim executives with the best support in the industry. When you work with Alium, you can expect a professional and ethical service from start to finish.
- Registration - when we have received your CV and reviewed it, we will contact you to confirm that you have been registered with us. We aim to understand more about your background and your key assignment interests and what motivates you best. Working with you helps us build up a profile of you to enable us to match you to the right assignments.
- The assignment process - clients contact Alium with new assignments every day. When we identify a suitable opportunity for you, we will first contact you to establish your availability and interest. When you confirm your initial interest, we will then brief you for the role and one of our team will provide further background as required and confirm we have the most updated CV for you. Only then - when we have your consent - will we send your details to the client. If the client would like to arrange a meeting with you, we will provide you with any additional information we have before that meeting.
- Winning an assignment - if our clients request, we will ask for references prior to your placement and may require written confirmation that you are operating through a limited company and have taken out professional indemnity insurance.
- Contracts - at Alium, we always manage both your contract and that of our client, ensuring that the process is as seamless as possible.
- Payment - to help ensure payment is smooth and timely, we ask you to provide supporting notification of the number of days you have worked in any given pay period (typically every month).
- Contract management - we will keep in regular contact with you and the client during the course of every assignment to ensure that communication is open between all parties and the assignment is progressing to the satisfaction of both parties.
- Transparency - both you and our clients know what the total fees are and how they are split between you and us.
- Support - we will review your progress whilst you are on assignment with regular assignment reviews with you and the client. We encourage our interim executives to keep in touch with us while they are on assignment and our consultants make themselves accessible throughout the assignment.
- Communities of Practice - even when you are not on assignment with us we will keep in touch. If you associated with a specific Alium Practice area you are likely to receive regular newsletters, be invited to seminars, networking events or practitioner workshops.
