The new role was in the critical area of cyber. The client had decided to invest in this fast developing function and needed to source excellent candidates with the right skills.
Working closely with the client, we utilised our search-match capability, reaching out to new candidates in terms of our network and connections to find people who met these niche requirements. A strong relationship with the client was key as it enabled us to encourage them to think in different ways about the skill sets they were bringing together and how they could support the overall team. We were able to help the client adapt their thinking and utilise skills that they previously hadn’t considered. We helped the client to think through and understand what each candidate could offer and how it could benefit them. The client was then able to make an informed decision and an outstanding individual was placed.
