Peter heads up Alium’s Industry and Technology Practice drawing upon his extensive experience of working with sectors spanning mining, refining, iron & steel, chemicals, manufacturing, R&D, electronics, engineering & fabrication, LPG, food, glass, medical, scientific, farming, B2B retail and others.
The prime focus is appointments to the Industry and Technology sectors covering general management, operations (supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, quality, HSE etc), technology and R&D, start-ups, marketing, business development and sales.
A former senior executive with the BOC Group plc, Peter Sanderson started his career as an aeronautical engineer on the Concorde project. Peter has wide international General Management and Board level experience in aerospace, electronics, power storage and industrial gases, with extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific region. During his time at BOC he was the Marketing Director of their Australian operations, Marketing Director for the North Pacific, and from 1997 to 2002 was Business Development Director for BOC's largest multi-billion dollar division, Industrial and Special Products.
