John Bloor has had over 30 years experience in banking and professional services, helping a wide variety of businesses navigate their way through periods of dramatic change. He has acted in the capacity of lender, debt arranger and adviser, and for the last 8 years has focused on the supply of interim executives to support companies in transition.
Prior to joining Alium he spent a number of years with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was responsible for developing the firm’s Turnaround Panel which became a much copied model in the industry. Before PwC he had a long career at Barclays Bank where he had a succession of senior management roles followed by an appointment as a Director for the bank’s West Midlands region.
He leads both our Business Transformation and Finance practices. Business Transformation provides senior level interims across a broad range of management disciplines for transition & integration, restructuring & turnaround and crisis management assignments. The Finance practice provides high level finance professionals to undertake interim Finance Director and other senior line management or project based roles in both listed and privately owned companies.
