It is good to see an interim appointment make the headlines today with Stuart Pearce's interim management role as the England coach. While the FA didn't turn to Alium on this occasion, it does highlight the pace, experience and flexibility that a seasoned professional can bring to any business in times of need.
Whether this stems from a sudden high-level sacking, as in this case, or more simply a urgent requirement to bring some much needed skills into an organisation, this "safe pair of hands" approach is something we see every day in the interim management industry. So we wish Stuart all the best for the game against the Netherlands - and if it doesn't work out beyond that, he can always give us a call.
Meanwhile I best get onto the phone to Abramovich to see if we can help there....
