Alium recently took part in W-tech which is a one day event aimed at connecting technology employers with women working in IT.

The event was a mix of exhibitors, workshops and speakers including Jo Alma, Head of IMD Technology for Europe & Asia at Goldman Sachs, Lis Astall, MD Public Service in Europe, Africa & Latin America at Accenture, Fiona Capstick, Vice President, Geographic Integration Executive, Office of the CIO at IBM and Karen Winney, Director, Business Services UK Ireland & Nordic - Procter & Gamble. We led a series of CV clinics at the event aimed at making CV writing easier, ensuring experience is correctly understood and improving the response from clients. The session included how to bring clarity and structure to your CV and how to streamline career history for maximum effect. It is the distillation of years of client feedback coupled with our own experiences to provide a framework for producing a high impact CV. The day was a huge success with each workshop being oversubscribed.
