The organisation had a number of multi-million pound critical projects in progress. There was also a senior team of project managers requiring leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. In addition, a successor needed to be found.
Alium was asked to provide an experienced interim executive as a solution to the problem. We were able to provide a highly qualified
interim IT Director who remained in post for longer than anticipated due to the significant contribution he was able to offer.
During his assignment, the
interim management executive not only supported and line-managed the
project managers, but also provided strategic technical direction around an internet/e-business programme, which required close integration within the operational IT systems.
